Today, on World Polio Day, we are celebrating all the progress we’ve made in fighting polio over the years. Since 1988, we’ve reduced cases by 99.9%. With three countries remaining endemic, we still have a lot more work to do to eradicate the disease for good.
Past District Governor Ann Lee Hussey, Executive Director of the Rotarian Action Group for Polio Survivors and Associate, shares her story of living with polio in the video below. Her experiences drive her commitment to end the disease once and for all.
